About slow & seasonal

Slower days, seasonal living, soulful homemaking 🌙🌿

Slow & Seasonal is a gentle space for women and mothers who want to live in rhythm with the earth, the seasons, and their own sacred pace. Here, we honor slowness as a strength, homemaking as a ritual, and motherhood as a deeply cyclical journey.

Behind the Blog

Meet Kaitlyn

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn—mama, homemaker, writer, and seasonal soul behind Slow & Seasonal.

I created this space as a gentle invitation to live differently. To live intentionally—with rhythm, with reverence, and with deep trust in the wisdom of the seasons.

Here, you’ll find reflections on:

🌱 Slow living that honors your nervous system
🌸 Seasonal rhythms that reconnect you to nature’s cycles
🔥 Sacred homemaking that’s rooted, ritualized, and real
🌙 Emotional truth-telling—because healing often begins with honesty
🕯️ Motherhood as initiation—wild, raw, and holy

I live on an island in western Washington with my husband and daughter, Juniper, where I spend my days baking sourdough, making soup from scratch, and leaning into the sacred mess of home and family. I don’t have all the answers—but I trust the earth, the body, and the rhythm of the turning year.

If you’re craving a life that moves slower, feels deeper, and grows in seasons…

You’re in the right place.
